My review of Dolce & Gabbana's website:

My first initial thought when I clicked on the website is that its laid out easily to read and workout, I thought it looked a lot like Vogue magazine's website which is laid out very similar.

As you can see from the two photo's D&G has the titles across the top and squares images on the home page.

Dolce & Gabbana have news of whats going on in the fashion brands world on their home page along with eye catching photographs for each one.

Still on the home page when you go to explore the different titles it comes up with a menu. It is clear and simple with a link to the online store. This is the same for the men and children titles too. The rest of the titles are just links straight to what it says. Beauty, watches, eyewear, jewellery and the online store link all take you to a new tab in your browser, discover keeps you on the same website. In my opinion I'd rather stay on the same website as its less hassle and doesn't fill your tabs up.

When clicking onto a link off the menu off the women's title, Spring summer 2019 Women's Fashion Show, above is what the page looked like. It's neat and clear to the reader. This is the same for all tabs under women, men and children.

The online store:

The online store is the same as the website with the titles across the top. It also has a flying trainer animated across the page which adds a playful theme to the page.

The home page has adverts promoting new products out.

When hovering your curser over the titles it comes up with a menu that fills the screen for women, men, children and gifts, and with watches and jewellery and DGYOURSELF it takes you to a new page straight away.

The website is easy to get around I'd say for any age as its simple and easy to read with the font.
The font is all capitalised and is reasonably sized.

Net-a-porter

The home page of Net-a-porter website in my opinion isn't as easy to read as Dolce & Gabbana as it has many colours and fonts going on.

Again, like D&G if you hoover over the titles it comes up with a menu flling the page, to find D&G i had to click on the title 'Designers' then follow the link that said 'Designer A-Z'. Once on the corect page I clicked 'D' and scrolled to find Dolce & Gabbana.
For me this is easy but still more hassle than D&G's website.

On the Dolce & Gabbana page it says how many results its found with all products mixed together then you can refine it on the side as to what you're looking for.

The font is easy to read yet I prefer D&G's website. The font is not all capitalised and looks smaller than D&G's.

Net-a-porter have a live chat where you can speak to someone if you need help whilst shopping. I think this is helpful as when I'm shopping if something is out of stock or if you want to know if it has a matching piece it is easy to have the option to ask someone.
