Dolce & Gabbana poster on Ethics


Above is the poster I created on Dolce & Gabbana and wether there ethics on this situation were in the right place. My poster is about how Dolce & Gabbana created a collection of abaya's and headscarves but left the women wearing them unsatisfied. The research I got to back this up is on my previous post. 
I used a floral background to represent D&G, and then a white border to separate D&G from the streets of Asia. I put the streets on top of Dolce & Gabbana and made it slightly transparent to show the two trying to come together, but unsuccessfully. I then added a model from the D&G campaign ad for the collection. I feel like my poster shows that she fits in more with the floral back ground than the streets of Asia.
The point I wanted to get across was that this collection, was felt by many Muslim's that it wasn't made for everybody of that religion, showing it to be 'too dressy'. Another point was that it wasn't anything special, you could just pick a duplicate of this abaya and headscarf from a street shop and barely tell the difference.
