Feedback on Report

Executive summary:

The draft report does not include any titles so I am assuming the first paragraph is the Executive summary. You have explained the aim of the report but do not provide any detail of the findings and conclusions that you have reached. Within your Executive summary you also need to outline your recommendations.

Introduction to the Brand:

Good introduction to the Dolce & Gabbana brand with a brief explanation of the brand history. Explain in more detail the problem you are trying to solve, providing evidence to support the controversy that you have highlighted. The introduction should explain the stating point for your research and a summary of the contents. You may want to extract some of the contents from the executive summary to add to your introduction. 

Marco Economic Analysis:

Good overview of political and legal factors effecting the brand. Provide evidence to support your findings in relation to racism and tax evasion. When discussing social factors this may relation to social media change in society, not social media. Provide details of the economic factors effecting the brand.

Brand Market position:

You have identified some strengths including the design of the products and weaknesses relating to price and availability. Focus more on some of the issues that you have raised earlier in your report. More detail required on the opportunities and threats for the brand. Please explain how your findings are impacting on the brands consumers.

Competitors:

Include a brand positioning map to explain in more detail the key competitors to Dolce & Gabbana. You have indicated that Gucci is a main competitor, have you consider any other luxury brands such as Prada or Louis Vuitton. Good analysis of some of the brands including DKNY. Be careful with branding labels as boring (Burberry). Provide evidence to support this. Include mood board to reflect the brands competitors. 

Consumer Demographic:

You have indicated the target consumer for Dolce & Gabbana is a wealthy individual aged between 25-35 with an income of approx 100,000. Please provide evidence to support your findings as the average Millenial consumer who falls within this demographic does not have a salary or disposable income to meet these targets. You may wish to divide the consumers into two distinctive categories, or niche micro consumer groups. Again further research is required in terms of the consumer lifestyle and key characteristics. Provide a mood board to reflect the brands target consumer group/groups.
